Phoebe Anna Traquair was an influential artist in the
Arts and Crafts movement. Considered to be the first important professional female artist in Scotland, she painted astonishingly beautiful murals in churches, here's an example of her work in the
Mansfield Traquair Centre in Edinburgh-
This particular mural has been described as the "Sistine Chapel" of Edinburgh.
